Product Description
The Supermicro AS-2116GT-HNTF is a 2U GrandTwin server housing four independent, hot‑pluggable nodes — delivering extreme density for HPC, cloud gaming, MEC/edge, CDN, and telco cloud workloads. Each node supports a single AMD EPYC 9004/9005 processor (up to 96 cores, 500W TDP) with 16 DDR5 DIMM slots (up to 4TB per node) and 4 front 2.5” NVMe/SATA bays. Unlike blade servers, each node is fully self‑contained with its own CPU, memory, storage, and AIOM networking slot, and can be serviced without downtime to other nodes. Redundant 2200W Titanium PSUs (96% efficiency) power the entire chassis.
