Product Description
The Juniper MX960 is an SDN‑enabled carrier‑grade edge router delivering up to 12 Tbps system throughput in a 16 RU chassis — powered by the programmable Junos Trio chipset. With 12 line card slots, 1.5 Tbps fabric capacity per slot, and inline MACsec AES‑256 on high‑speed interfaces, it supports 400GbE down to 1GbE in a single platform. Redundant Routing Engines, SCBs, and N+1 power supplies ensure carrier‑class reliability. The MX960 runs Junos OS with full automation, telemetry, and MPLS/Segment Routing capabilities.
